Day 1

 

    • 0930 - 10:00 Welcome to the Trust from our Chief Executive, Carolyn Regan
    • 10.00 – 12.00 Service User Experience & Recovery
    • 12:00 - 13:00 An opportunity to meet with a number of support services including: Learning & Development, Recruitment, Payroll & Pensions & NVQ Assessors
    • 13:00 – 14:00 Fire Awareness
    • 14:00-15:00 Equality & Diversity
    • 15:00-15:30 Information Governance
    • 15:30-16:00 Broadmoor staff only - Welcome from the Service Director
Day 2

 

    • 09:30 – Introduction to Incident reporting
    • 12:00 - 12:30 Lunch
    • 12:30 - 15:30 Vulnerable Adults Training
Day 3

 

From Day 3 your programme will vary depending on your job role and prior learning.

If I have any queries during my induction who should I speak to?

I have a query about my contract, who should I speak to?
You will have an opportunity on Day 1 to speak to a representative from recruitment during the lunchtime period. Alternatively, you can contact your recruitment advisor.

 

I’m running late and not likely to make the coach to the Broadmoor site – what should I do?

What do I do if I’m ill or cannot attend my Induction?
You should contact your line manager but also the induction co- ordinator via the Induction email address click on the induction email here:- Induction@westlondon.nhs.uk

 

I’m making my own way to induction as I don’t want to get the coach – can I claim this as expenses?
Unfortunately, this is not supported unless you go on the transportation provided by the Trust which is free.

 

I need to find out how to contact my manager?
On day 1 of induction you will have an opportunity to speak to a manager during your lunchtime session.

 

eLearning

As part of your induction you are required to complete a selection of eLearning courses. These will need to be completed prior to you starting in your workplace as they demonstrate your competance in a range of mandatory topics. To access your eLearning, you will need a User Name and Password which will be provided to you on your first day.  complete the full course.
